Steps for preparing and submitting your job

Please check the available modules by module avail apps/Matlab. You can load matlab module via:

Load any one module from the below list:

apps/Matlab/r2016b/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2017a/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2017b/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2018b/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2019a/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2019b/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2020a/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2020b/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2021a/precompiled
apps/Matlab/r2021b/precompiled
for short jobs/runs you can run matlab gui via
matlab
command. long running jobs should be submitted via batch system a script file, example:
#!/bin/bash
#PBS -N jobname
#PBS -P project name
#PBS -m bea
#PBS -M $USER@iitd.ac.in
#PBS -l select=1:ncpus=8
#PBS -l walltime=20:00:00
#PBS -l software=MATLAB
cd $PBS_O_WORKDIR
module load apps/Matlab/r2021b/precompiled
time -p matlab -logfile matlab.log -batch  myprogram
now submit the job using qsub command.

 

  • Now MATLAB licenses(including all toolbox) are available on campus level so you will get the license for your job whenever it required.
